Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OneStepTwo app and website (the "Service"), operated by OneStepTwo ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Description of Service
OneStepTwo helps families track potty-training progress and celebrate milestones together through our "Potty School" system. The Service is intended to be used by parents and guardians to log and monitor their children's progress — not by children directly.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child whose information you add to the Service. By creating a child profile, you confirm you have the legal authority to consent to that child's information being collected as described in our Privacy Policy.
Accounts and Family Roles
Your family is represented by an account with one or more members. A Guardian has full access to manage the family's account, invite or remove members, and delete data. A Caregiver can log and view activity but cannot manage the family's account settings. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to collect or store information about a child who is not your own and for whom you don't have legal guardianship or authorization from their guardian.
- Attempt to access another family's data without authorization.
- Misuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a family.
Your Data
Your family's data belongs to you. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it — it's incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Pricing
The Service is currently free to use. If we introduce a paid plan in the future, we'll announce it in advance and give you the opportunity to review the new terms before they apply to you.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes your family's data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimers
OneStepTwo is a tracking and milestone tool. It is not medical, developmental, or professional advice, and should not be used as a substitute for guidance from a pediatrician or other qualified professional. The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OneStepTwo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the date above and let you know through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
